Hey! I'm Kensei, an art director and visual development artist in animation. I’m a naturally curious guy, so I end up constantly learning new things. While doing art things, I’ve picked up compositing, 3D modeling, storyboard, animation, music, bidding and budgeting, and many other random things that caught my interest. I use this wide range of knowledge to communicate between teams better, and be a good leader.
I’ve art directed for a number of rising indie animation studios such as Orange Blossom Studios, NuBoom Studios, Zipped Up Films, and The Gilded Teafling. I was also a visual development artist on a feature film project by Bicicleta Casa Audiovisual. I’ve proven myself to be a dependable leader, a problem solver, a speed demon, and a collaborator.
I love animation. I believe it’s so much more to humanity than entertainment. It impacts our views on life. It makes us grow. It can make us understand something new.
