Hey! I'm Kensei, an art director and visual development artist in animation. I love exploring new methods and techniques, new perspectives, and new disciplines. Over the years, I’ve picked up compositing, 3D modeling, storyboard, animation, music, bidding and budgeting, and many other random things that caught my interest. I use this wide range of knowledge to communicate between teams better, and be a good leader.
I’ve art directed for a number of rising indie animation studios such as Orange Blossom Studios, NuBoom Studios, Zipped Up Films, and The Gilded Teafling. I was also a visual development artist on a feature film project by Bicicleta Casa Audiovisual. I’ve proven myself to be a dependable leader, a problem solver, a speed demon, and a collaborator.
I love animation. I believe it’s so much more to humanity than entertainment. It impacts our views on life. It makes us grow. It can make us understand something new.
